This section aims to provide you with contextual and informative information about the structure and content of the one-time verification tab.
In the left-hand panel, select OTV.
Under Select Country, choose the appropriate Country.
Enter the desired ID number of the user who will be verifying themselves.
Click Request OTV.
Note: Our platform will automatically initiate a workflow based on the selected ID, passport, or country type. If the user is a non-RSA citizen, if Department of Home Affairs (DHA) is unavailable, or if the user's biometrics are not present, the system will automatically default to document capture.
Sharing Options:
Launch: Initiates the biometric capture process by opening on your device's default browser.
Copy Link: Copies the verification link for easy sharing via email or other communication channels.
Send SMS: Opens a pop-up window to enter the recipient's phone number, enabling you to send the verification link directly to their device. Ensure the phone number is entered without the leading zero (e.g., enter 811231234 instead of 0811231234). Note: An SMS gateway is required, and charges will apply for sent messages.
QR Code: Generates a QR code that can be scanned to open the verification link in the device's default browser.
A verification pin can only be returned if it has not expired (default expiration is 24 hours) or if no verification result has been recorded for it.
